The House's History
La Casa del Atrio is a charming space filled with magic and warmth. It is located in a stately old home from the 19th century where the Knights of Columbus would meet. They were Querétaro's notable citizenry who would make decisions regarding public services. In this house it was decided who would each week light and put out the street lights in the 20 or 30 square blocks which comprised the town, who would keep watch, and other such matters both public and social concerning this incipient and lovely town, now city. This private home was witness to great events that forged Mexico's past.
