La Casa del Atrio is a concept that combines interior decoration and lodging with an art gallery where we exhibit the art works of emerging artists along with nationally and internationally renowned artists. We have decorated each of our rooms with art, rugs and murals -created by Claudia Ramos- in an effort to strike a balance between restfullness and beauty.
We are housed in a beautiful, historic house from the 19th century that combines tradition and modernity which we have adapted to the necessities of modern comfort without losing the essence of the houses of colonial times.
We have three rooms furnished in fine detail. The beddings were selected for their quality and design and the beds for a truly restful sleep. La Casa del Atrio is well-cared for by its owners and their personal attention assures that your stay will be even more enjoyable.
La Casa del Atrio is an ideal venue for corporate and business travelers, weekend rests or to write the long postponed book or project that the fast pace of big cities does not allow. La Casa del Atrio is a place for anyone who cares about privacy, service, luxury, and personal attention.
We have a tranquil garden with arches from the original aqueduct, and two beautiful patios, one with a spectacular view of the dome and bell tower of the San Agustín church across the street. With a little luck, at night you might even catch a glimpse of the white owls that nest in the bell tower.
We provide a cozy spot to lodge in the heart of the historic center of the beautiful city of Querétaro, a World Heritage Site.
Location
Located at Allende Sur #15, in front of Querétaro's Museum of Art and the San Agustín church, one of the baroque gems of Latin America, and just a couple of blocks from some of the principal tourist sites such as Plaza Guerrero, Jardín Zenea and the San Francisco church, to mention but a few.
Our goal is that travelers find a serene and quiet place to stay.
